Important: Some services are governed by third-party supplier policies (airlines, hotels, rail, attractions, etc.). Where supplier policies apply, they may be more restrictive than this policy.
1. Scope
What this policy covers and how it applies to bookings.
This Booking & Refund Policy applies to all travel services booked through JainVoyagers Inc, including but not limited to: tours, accommodations, transfers, activities, and packaged itineraries. By confirming a booking, you agree to this policy along with any supplier terms that apply to your services.

- Confirmed Booking: Booking confirmed in writing after required payment is received.
- Cancellation Date: The date we receive your written cancellation request.
- Supplier: Independent providers (airlines, hotels, operators, etc.).
2. Booking Confirmation & Payments
Deposits, payment deadlines, and pricing conditions.
2.1 Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit/advance and issue a written confirmation.
- Until confirmed, prices and availability may change.
2.2 Payment deadlines
- Full payment must be completed by the deadline provided in your confirmation email or invoice.
- If payment is not received on time, services may be cancelled automatically and cancellation charges may apply.
2.3 Currency & charges
- Payments are typically processed in CAD unless otherwise stated.
- Bank fees, card fees, or currency conversion costs (if applicable) are the client’s responsibility.
3. Cancellations
Cancellation slabs and what happens when you cancel.
All cancellations must be requested in writing. The cancellation date is the date your request is received by JainVoyagers. Cancellation charges apply based on days prior to departure:
- Up to 60 days before departure: 30% of total cost.
- 59–30 days before departure: 60% of total cost.
- Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total cost.
Note: If your booking includes supplier non-refundable services (air tickets, certain hotels, rail passes, event tickets), the supplier’s cancellation policy will apply and may result in no refund even if cancelled earlier.
4. Refunds
Refund eligibility, processing timelines, and refund method.
4.1 Processing time
- Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 60 to 90 days from receiving a written cancellation request.
- Processing depends on supplier confirmations and banking/payment gateway timelines.
4.2 Refund method
- Refunds are issued via the original payment method where possible.
- Bank charges, transaction fees, and currency conversion losses are non-refundable.
4.3 Unused services
- No refunds for no-shows, missed departures, or unused services once travel has started (unless supplier allows).
*Refund window: 60–90 days is the standard processing window. Some supplier refunds may take longer, especially for air tickets.
5. Amendments & Changes
Date changes, name changes, routing changes, and rebooking rules.
- All changes must be requested in writing and are subject to availability.
- Supplier fees, fare differences, and reissue charges may apply.
- Amendments close to travel dates may be treated as cancellation + rebooking depending on suppliers.
Tip: For international travel, name corrections and date changes can be restricted for air tickets and may be non-changeable.
6. Supplier Terms & Non-Refundable Items
When supplier rules override or limit refund eligibility.
Many services are delivered by independent suppliers. Supplier policies may apply stricter cancellation/refund rules, including non-refundable and non-changeable services. Examples include:
- Flight tickets (including low-cost carriers and promotional fares)
- Event tickets, attraction passes, and timed-entry reservations
- Special-rate hotel bookings, peak season rates, and prepaid reservations
- Rail passes, cruises, and private transport bookings
Supplier precedence: If supplier terms conflict with this policy for a specific service, the supplier terms apply.
7. Force Majeure
Unpredictable events beyond control and how refunds are handled.
JainVoyagers Inc is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, or travel bans. Refunds (if any) will depend on supplier policies and operational feasibility.
