12–16 days (customizable) • Upgrade-friendly for premium hotels and private touring
Trip highlights
These are the “signature” moments that define this journey. Add or remove based on pace.
Icefields Parkway scenic day
One of North America’s most beautiful drives: glaciers, turquoise lakes, and cinematic viewpoints.
Lake Louise & Moraine-style viewpoints
Bucket-list lake scenery with time to enjoy it slowly: sunrise views, lakeside strolls, tea lounges.
Jasper wilderness energy
Calmer than Banff, with big skies and a deeper “wild Canada” feel — excellent for stargazing.
Denali landscapes + wildlife
Wide-open tundra views, epic mountains, and a strong chance of seeing wildlife with a specialist guide.
Kenai Fjords day (Seward)
Glacier-fed fjords, marine wildlife, and dramatic coastal scenery — a powerful contrast to the Rockies.
Flightseeing / rail upgrades
Add a premium perspective: short scenic flights, luxury rail segments, or a cruise-style Alaska link.
Suggested itinerary (14 days)
Designed for scenic pacing. This is a strong “default” route — we can compress or extend it easily.
Day 1 — Arrive Calgary • Transfer to Banff
Arrive in Calgary and begin your journey with a smooth transfer to Banff. Check in, unwind, and take a gentle orientation walk around Banff Avenue or the riverside paths. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed dinner plan and an early night to set up the week beautifully.
Day 2 — Banff Signature Sights • Scenic Gondola Option
A balanced Banff day: viewpoint stops, easy walks, and time to enjoy the mountain town atmosphere. Add a gondola ride for panoramic views, then slow down with café time or wellness (spa / hot springs style pacing).
Day 3 — Lake Louise & Iconic Lakes Day
Travel into the Lake Louise region for Canada’s most famous alpine lake scenery. Plan your day around the best viewpoints and gentle lakeside walks. Keep time for a relaxed lunch and optional sunset viewing.
Day 4 — Icefields Parkway • Glacier Stops • Arrive Jasper
One of the most scenic days of the entire trip: the Icefields Parkway. Stop at glacier viewpoints and turquoise lakes, with short nature walks when you feel like stretching your legs. Arrive in Jasper, check in, and enjoy a quiet evening under wide skies.
Day 5 — Jasper Nature Day • Gentle Trails & Lakes
A softer, flexible day designed for “luxury pacing.” Choose one highlight drive and one easy walk, then keep the rest open for lakeside relaxation, scenic cafés, or wellness time.
Day 6 — Jasper to Edmonton (or Calgary) • Fly to Alaska
Transfer to your flight gateway (routing varies). This is intentionally a “travel day” with minimal plans. Arrive in Alaska (typically Anchorage as the easiest base), check in, and keep the evening light.
Note: Flight routing and gateways vary by season and schedule. We adjust the plan to your preferred airlines and timings.
Day 7 — Anchorage Orientation • Coastal Views Option
Enjoy a calm arrival day: short city orientation, waterfront viewpoints, and time to settle into Alaska’s rhythm. If you want more, add a scenic drive segment or a curated food stop block.
Day 8 — Anchorage to Denali • Scenic Transfer
Head north to Denali with scenic stops en route. The landscape opens into wide valleys and mountain views. Arrive, check in, and keep the afternoon gentle with short walks and viewpoints.
Day 9 — Denali Day • Wildlife + Viewpoints
Your full Denali day is built around the best chances for big scenery and wildlife moments. Choose a guided touring block to maximise sightings and interpretive storytelling, then enjoy a relaxed evening.
Day 10 — Denali Flex Day • Flightseeing Upgrade Option
A second Denali day gives you buffer for weather and lets you add a premium upgrade: flightseeing (where available) or a specialist-guided nature block. Keep the rest of the day easy.
Day 11 — Denali to Seward • Kenai Peninsula Drive
Drive south through the Kenai Peninsula — one of Alaska’s most scenic coastal corridors. Arrive in Seward and enjoy a relaxed harbour evening with a simple dinner plan.
Day 12 — Kenai Fjords Day • Glacier & Marine Wildlife
Today is the dramatic contrast to the Rockies: fjords, glaciers, and marine wildlife. Plan a cruise-style day (seasonal) and keep the evening slow — coastal sunsets feel special here.
Day 13 — Seward to Anchorage • Leisure Evening
Return to Anchorage at a relaxed pace. Use the afternoon for last-minute shopping, a comfort meal, or a light cultural stop. This day is purposely not overloaded.
Day 14 — Depart Anchorage
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. If you want to extend, this itinerary pairs beautifully with a short Vancouver city block or a coastal Alaska cruise extension.
Optional premium extensions (easy add-ons)
We can attach any of these extensions without disrupting the core route.
Vancouver 2–3 nights
City + culinary + waterfront pacing before or after the Rockies/Alaska segment.
Alaska cruise link (seasonal)
Inside Passage style routing with scenic “water days” and glacier viewpoints.
