01 Toronto to Montreal | VIA Rail Business Class

Begin your journey with exclusive access to the VIA Rail Business Class Lounge, where you can enjoy complimentary newspapers and non-alcoholic beverages before boarding your train. Travel along the scenic shores of Lake Ontario toward Trenton Junction, where the St. Lawrence River begins its course.

As you pass through Napanee, admire the picturesque waterfalls visible from the train. En route, stop at Kingston, a historic city and former capital of Canada (1841–1867), known as the birthplace of Sir John A. Macdonald, the nation’s first Prime Minister. Cross the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in 1832, originally designed as a strategic supply route after the War of 1812.

As the train continues past Cornwall, enter the province of Quebec and cross the Ottawa River before arriving at Montreal’s Central Station, conveniently located beneath the iconic Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in the heart of downtown.
(Lunch included.)

02 Montreal | Freedom of Choice – Select One Experience

Personalize your exploration of Montreal with one of the following exclusive tours:

Option 1: Private Old Montreal Culinary Walking Tour
Delve into Montreal’s rich culinary scene with a private guide, exploring the perfect blend of history and gastronomy. Walk through Place d’Armes and the charming Saint-Paul Street, while indulging in four specially curated tastings. Visit the historic Saint-Sulpice Seminary, admire stunning architecture, and savor local gourmet specialties that define Montreal’s vibrant food culture.

Option 2: Private Walking Tour of Old Montreal – East & West
Discover the timeless charm of Old Montreal as you explore its eastern and western districts with a private guide. Marvel at the impressive exterior of Notre-Dame Basilica, stroll through Cours le Royer, St-Paul Street, and Place Jacques-Cartier, and admire landmarks such as City Hall and Champ de Mars. Step back in time as you visit Place d’Armes, walk along St-Jacques Street—once home to Montreal’s most powerful banks—and explore McGill Street and Place d’Youville. Your tour concludes near the iconic Bonsecours Market and the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, where the city’s fascinating past meets its dynamic present.

03 Montreal to Quebec City | VIA Rail Business Class

Travel in comfort as you follow the St. Lawrence River, transitioning from Montreal’s bustling cityscape to serene countryside dotted with forests, lush pastures, and charming villages. During the first hour, observe the Monteregian Hills, ancient volcanic formations over 120 million years old. Among them, Mont Royal in Montreal and Mont Rouge near Beloeil stand as notable landmarks.

Enjoy breathtaking views of maple tree forests, where Canada’s famous maple syrup is produced. After just over two hours, arrive at Gare du Palais in Quebec City, the only walled city in North America and the cultural heart of French Canada. With over 400 years of history, Quebec City’s architecture, cobblestone streets, and European charm make it one of the most enchanting destinations in Canada.
(Lunch included.)

04 Private Walking Tour of Quebec City

Step back in time as you embark on a private walking tour of Old Quebec, exploring both its Upper and Lower Towns. Walk along the Dufferin Terrace, offering panoramic views of the Château Frontenac, the St. Lawrence River, and the historic Plains of Abraham-Citadel.

Discover Quebec City’s rich heritage as you visit its fortifications, the Ursuline Convent, City Hall, and the serene Seminary Courtyard, all nestled among beautifully preserved churches. Continue to Lower Town, where the Old Port Marina meets the charming antique & art district. End your tour at Place Royale, the birthplace of Quebec City, before strolling along the historic Petit Champlain Street, a lively reminder of the city’s trading past.
