Arrive, collect your vehicle, and check in before a light adventure loop. Walk the harbourfront and add a short trail segment to get moving. Stop at a nearby lookout for ocean views and sunset photos. Evening free for gear prep and early rest. Plan tomorrow’s South Shore route and trail stop timing.

Day 2: Peggy’s Cove & Lunenburg – Coastal Walks and Viewpoints

Drive the South Shore with scenic pullouts and rocky shoreline stops. Explore Peggy’s Cove lighthouse area and do a rock walk (safely and weather permitting). Continue to Lunenburg for active strolling through heritage streets and harbour viewpoints. Add an optional short coastal trail stop before returning. Overnight with downtime to recover.

Day 3: Transfer to Cape Breton, Scenic Drive & Stretch Stops

Drive toward Cape Breton with planned breaks to stretch and keep energy steady. Stop at a viewpoint or a small town for snacks and fresh air. Arrive and check in near the Cabot Trail gateway for a calm evening. Take a short walk and enjoy dinner, keeping it early. Operations notes shared for Cabot Trail conditions and best daylight timing.

Day 4: Cabot Trail Day 1 – Cliff Viewpoints & Short Hikes

Start early and follow famous Cabot Trail sections known for dramatic coastal panoramas. Stop at key lookouts and choose short hikes/boardwalk trails based on conditions. Plan a simple lunch stop and keep hydration and layers handy. Continue with another viewpoint stop for wide ocean shots and fresh air. Return to base for rest and a relaxed evening.

Day 5: Cabot Trail Day 2 – Villages, Trails & Nature Stops

Continue the Cabot Trail route with coastal villages and scenic road sections. Add a short nature trail or beach walk for variety and active time. Keep breaks frequent and choose viewpoints for photos and recovery. Return to accommodation with downtime and a calm dinner. Prepare for the longer transfer toward PEI tomorrow.

Day 6: Transfer to PEI, Bridge Crossing & Harbour Walk

Drive toward PEI with planned stops to keep the transfer comfortable. Cross the Confederation Bridge and stop at a viewpoint for photos. Arrive in Charlottetown, check in, and do a harbour loop walk or light cycling option. Evening free for rest and meal, keeping energy for the island loop. Pack beach shoes and wind layers for tomorrow.

Day 7: PEI Coastal Loop – Trails, Beaches & Lighthouses

Explore PEI’s coast with trailheads, beach walks, and lighthouse viewpoints. Choose one short coastal hike and keep time for beach walking and photos. Stop for snacks at a farm shop and enjoy relaxed pacing between stops. Add a second viewpoint or lighthouse stop for panoramic ocean shots. Return to Charlottetown for rest and overnight.

Day 8: New Brunswick Fundy Coast – Hopewell Rocks Tide Window

Drive into New Brunswick and align your Hopewell Rocks visit with the best tide time. Enjoy the dramatic formations and safe walkway exploration for photos. Add a Fundy lookout and optional short trail for an extra outdoor boost. Return to the Moncton/Fundy region with a calm evening and recovery time. Keep buffer time to manage tides and daylight smoothly.

Day 9: Return & Departure

Start the return drive with comfort breaks and a final viewpoint stop if possible. Pack and check out with relaxed timing to avoid rushing.
